We’re Opening Up...

Yes!

We’re planning on opening up for July 14th following Mark Drakeford’s guidelines of July 13th. However, having seen discussions within nursing forums, I am wondering if we can open earlier. Let me explain.

We are often confused for a beauty salon, however, we have D1 Consent and have Hospital Status following our Health Inspectorate Wales Registration and there isn’t a mention of clinics on the list of businesses to remain closed.

Rightly or wrongly we have kept our diaries open throughout and now have clients booked in from July 14th with Chantalle through to August 11th at the time of writing this blog. Spaces are filling up quickly, so I’m not expecting it to be at that date for much longer. All of our therapists are booking up too, with our initial opening day of July 16th now being fully booked, therefore we have opened up their diaries earlier for July 14th and 15th, should we be allowed to open.

However, as we aren’t on the list of businesses to remain closed, I have emailed Trading Standards and Envrionmental Health for some further clarification as to whether or not or none beauty essential treatments can recommence, which could lead to us opening earlier. I’ll keep you posted when I receive my replies.

I shall be summarising the Government Guidelines for all of our clients nearer to the open date, as these are subject to change. However, if you would like to know what is expected from a business who that is classed as a close contact service, you can see the 42 page guidelines here:
