Mobility Accessibility
Our clinic is based in a building where some physical access limitations exist, and we want to be open and clear about these.
Wheelchair Access
- Downstairs treatment rooms are wheelchair accessible
- There is a small lip at the front door, which may require assistance
- Please let us know in advance if you use a wheelchair or have mobility needs so we can support you appropriately on arrival
Stairs & Upstairs Access
- Access to the upstairs area is via steep and narrow stairs
- Unfortunately, the stairs are not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility
Treatments Not Accessible Downstairs
Due to equipment and safety requirements:
- Laser treatments are carried out upstairs only
- This means laser treatments are not accessible for wheelchair users
If you’re unsure whether a treatment can be performed downstairs, please contact us before booking and we’ll guide you through your options.
Toilets
- Our toilet facilities are not wheelchair accessible
- We appreciate this may be a deciding factor for some clients and want to be open about this limitation
Neurodivergent & Autistic Accessibility
We are committed to creating a calm, inclusive and respectful environment for neurodivergent clients, including those who are autistic, ADHD, or sensory-sensitive.
You are always welcome to:
- Wear headphones or ear defenders
- Ask for lights to be dimmed
- Request a quieter appointment time where possible
- Ask questions or request adjustments …there is no such thing as “being awkward” here
Our team are considerate, patient, and open to adapting. Where they can help you feel comfortable and safe during your visit.
If you have specific needs, preferences, or concerns, we encourage you to let us know ahead of your appointment so we can plan accordingly.
Let Us Know Before You Visit
Because some adjustments require preparation, we kindly ask for advance notice if:
- You require wheelchair access
- You need additional time or support
- You have sensory or neurodivergent needs we should be aware of
This allows us to ensure your appointment runs smoothly and comfortably.
Our Commitment
We are continually learning and looking at ways to be more accessible and inclusive. While there are physical limitations within our building, our attitude is one of care, openness, and respect for everyone.
If you have questions, suggestions, or would like to discuss your needs before booking, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Your comfort matters to us.
